What the fuck was wrong with me?

I stretched out on the bed, enjoying the post-orgasm bliss that made my joints feel like honey and made it difficult for me to even think about getting out of bed, but then I remembered what I had just done.

I’d just let Christian go down on me. My face burst red with shame and I sat up with a gasp, but he had already left the room. I was all alone, but I still pulled my towel off of the floor and wrapped it around me. I had to try to think through what I was doing, and it was damn near impossible when all I could think about was his tongue on my clit.

Fuck.

I shouldn’t have even been there, and I definitely shouldn’t have been thinking about how incredible it would have been to sleep with him.

I should have made a run for it.

For the first time, I really looked around the room. Before, I’d been so intent on getting into the shower that I hadn’t paid much attention to my surroundings, and then I’d been in bliss on my back, so nothing had seemed to matter.

The bedroom I was in had the bathroom off of it and another door that led out into a hallway. Quickly, and as quietly as I could, I dropped my towel to the floor and pulled on some clothes. They weren’t entirely my style, but I couldn’t help but admit that I looked hot as hell.

Turning in front of the mirror, I smiled to myself. The jeans hugged my ass and the tank top showed off all of my curves. I looked great, and I couldn’t wait to show off the fact that I didn’t always look exhausted and like shit.

But why the fuck should I care what he thought?

I faltered and leaned against the wall, unsure of what I was doing. I should have been looking for a way out of the room. Hell, there were windows that looked out over immaculate gardens, and although they were locked tight, I was sure that I could break them and escape.

But part of me didn’t want to.

There was a part of me that wanted Christian, as dangerous and stupid as that was.

Trailing my hand along the wall, I left the room and strolled down the hall to a main sitting room. There was a huge flatscreen on the wall, tons of books on the shelves, and more incredible art. Off the living room was a kitchen and another bathroom.

A few chairs sat around a fireplace and I had a sudden urge to sit by it when it got cool later in the year, but then I shook my head. I wasn’t going to be there later in the year. I was going to get the hell out of there and never come back.

It took a bit more exploring, but I finally found Christian out on a deck. The huge double doors behind him were thrown open and the breeze hit me in the face as I walked closer to him.
